Exhibits Documentation A guide to building exhibits using Spotlight

Spotlight

Spotlight is an application for showcasing digital content in easy-to-produce exhibits. You may also have heard it referred to as Starlight, which is the version of Spotlight developed collaboratively by UC Project Surfliner. Individual Spotlight instances are currently available for use by UC San Diego Library and UC Santa Barbara Library staff and collaborators.

This site is a Spotlight exhibit intended to serve as a guide and reference for exhibit creators (yes, an exhibit about creating exhibits). It is structured in the same way as exhibits that focus on collections or projects but here the exhibit items are just representative items drawn from our digital collections; the feature pages describe how to configure, populate, and compose the exhibit, and the about pages explain how to find out more about how to get started building exhibits at each campus.
